Travis Johnson is the Director and Senior Strategist for Generational Wealth at Hemington Wealth Management where she crafts customized, comprehensive wealth management solutions for the firm’s ultra-high net worth clients.  She has deep subject matter expertise in income tax planning, equity compensation, benefit/retirement planning, estate planning and risk management.  As her clients’ trusted advisor, she works on complex financial planning issues such as assessing financial independence, reducing estate tax liability and optimizing generational wealth transfer.

For her entire 32-year career, Travis has acted as personal CFO to ultra-high and high net worth individuals, small business owners and executives of Fortune 500 companies. In addition to her financial planning and wealth management experience, Travis also has experience as an analyst in advanced tax planning and preparation and was a valuable member of her previous firm’s tax department.

Travis has been recognized as a Five Star Professional from 2020 to 20231 and a Top Financial Professional in 2021 and 20232 by Northern Virginia Magazine.

Travis earned her Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University and her CFP® Professional Education from the College for Financial Planning. Travis is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Registered Investment Advisor.

Outside of financial planning, Travis is a Board Member and Treasurer of Lara’s League, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has partnered with The Inova Dwight and Martha Schar Cancer Institute to raise money for cancer research.
