
Amy is passionate about raising the bar for women and is a strong advocate for fully involving women in the financial planning process by providing a safe space in which they feel heard and supported. She specializes in working with women in transition, including widows.
Amy holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst® and Certified Financial Planner® designations, a combination of investment and planning credentials that is highly regarded in the industry. Formerly, she worked at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in capital markets and the Chairman’s Office and served as a Brookings Institution legislative fellow for a U.S. Senator, supporting work on the Senate Banking Committee.
As part of giving back, Amy serves on the Investment Committee of the American Association of University Women, a nonprofit organization advocating for women since 1881. She is an active volunteer with the CFA Institute supporting the CFA educational program and is also a member of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council.
Amy lives in Annandale, Virginia, with her husband and three children. She loves to spend time outside, cook slow meals, and dive into home projects. She graduated from Hood College with a degree in Finance and earned her Certificate in Financial Planning from Georgetown University.
